Hey friends!
As soon as we returned to camp, we set up our tents, but unfortunately, we had to take them down in the rain due to the 7-day rain forecast. The leaders didn’t want us to have to pack our gear, so it was a bit chaotic for a while as we tried to get our belongings to the dining deck without getting them too wet. For the rest of the week, we were sleeping in the carpeted area in the training center, which was quite a tight fit! Overall, the week was incredibly restful and refreshing. We had worship services, numerous one-on-one check-ins to gauge our well-being, and a few smaller sessions with just our squad. We also had game night and other similar nights! Along with our adventure day, where we went tubing! Our last night we had a fancy dinner in our “world race best” as they say. After dinner to finish off the night we went to Waffle House! It was so fun and I enjoyed spending time with my squad mates!
